At the Heads

At the Heads sits on the Barwon Heads pier in the blue weatherboard building famously from SeaChange. The location delivers water views, with the river mouth on one side and the ocean on the other. The restaurant operates across two levels: a dining room with table service and a casual bar area. There's also the Jetty Road Kiosk for takeaway.

The menu is built around seafood and modern Australian dishes. Recent offerings include kingfish with cucumber and dill, wagyu bresaola with beetroot, prawn rolls, and whole baked market fish alongside fish and chips. The dining room seats up to 90 and has a fireplace for winter.

The kiosk is useful if you're walking the Bluff or just want something quick to eat on the sand. Bookings are essential for the restaurant, particularly at weekends and during school holidays.
