The Ocean Grove location opened over summer and is just across the bridge from Barwon Heads. It is walk-in only, open 7 days from midday to 9pm, with a laid-back vibe, communal tables and a bar pouring cocktails. Lines move fast so don’t be put off if it crawls out the door.

They are kid-friendly with change tables, and can cater for most dietary requirements, including vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian and gluten-friendly options.

It is casual, reliable and well-priced. Good for families, good for couples, good for a quick midweek dinner when you do not feel like cooking. The kind of place you end up going back to twice in one trip. There is also a Torquay location if you are heading that way.
