Coffetti Gelato

Open very bright and early, it's the first place on Hitchcock Avenue to turn the lights on, which makes it the default stop for early risers who need coffee before the rest of the town wakes up. The gelato is made on-site with a rotating seasonal selection that includes creme brulee, mascarpone and fig, and tiramisu. The coffee comes from Industry Beans, and they do focaccias and XO Bowls for lunch, plus house-made cakes and muffins.

What keeps people coming back are Penny and her lovely team. The service is efficient without feeling rushed, and there's a genuine warmth to the place that's rare.
