The Talimanidis family has been running Greek restaurants along the Great Ocean Road for over 30 years, and that experience shows at A La Greque in Aireys Inlet. It's a coastal classic serving generous Greek-Australian food in a relaxed, no-frills setting. The menu centres on seafood, lamb, and chicken, with dishes inspired by family recipes.

The chef's selection changes with the seasons and is the way to go if you're stuck choosing. There's a grassed area for kids and high chairs available.

Bookings essential, especially in summer. It's the kind of place for shared plates, good company, and a laid-back afternoon. A bit of a drive from Barwon Heads, but well worth it.
